Responsibilities
- Drive automation and centralization across partner pricing and billing systems.
- Build and extend reconciliation systems that ensure pricing and billing accuracy.
- Design and implement automated controls supporting compliance and financial integrity.
- Design and build end-to-end features across pricing and billing services.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, observability, reliability, scalability, and security improvements.
- Work with Kafka, MongoDB, and MariaDB in event-driven systems.
- Participate in incident resolution, on-call support, mentoring, onboarding, hiring interviews, and broader engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of significant contributions to impactful projects.
- Experience with Java or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- Ability to design systems for safe iteration, scalability, resilience, and long-term ownership.
- Accountability for system availability, reliability, and security.
- Ability to balance delivery speed, scalability, risk, and technical debt pragmatically.
- Experience with observability, security, testing, and responsible data and event usage.
- Ability to own deliverables from design through production and communicate product and business outcomes.
- Preferred experience in payments, fintech, billing, regulated financial domains, external partner or B2B integrations, compliance, audit, reconciliation systems, or event-driven architectures.
