Responsibilities
- Act as Functional Safety Engineer and Cybersecurity lead for the software product portfolio.
- Guide projects on technical methods related to functional safety and cybersecurity standards.
- Analyze business trends and define, update, and deploy FS/CS methodologies for software projects.
- Ensure project methodologies comply with relevant standards and meet customer needs.
- Support R&D in implementing methodologies efficiently.
- Make technical decisions regarding functional safety and cybersecurity engineering for platform projects.
- Initiate feasibility studies and contribute to organizational direction on FS/CS topics.
- Facilitate technical discussions and drive decisions to logical closure.
- Improve existing functional safety and cybersecurity processes.
- Serve as a key customer interface and defend FS/CS practices in customer audits and assessments.
- Support project members with FS/CS practices, techniques, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Deep software engineering expertise and demonstrated software engineering process and development experience.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to solve problems systematically.
- Analytical skills and decision-making-based problem solving.
- Ability to demonstrate capability through publications and presentations at internal forums.
- Ability to support projects in applying functional safety and cybersecurity standards, methods, and tools.
- Ability to address problems of medium complexity.
