Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, reusable backend services and libraries serving as foundations for company applications.
- Build and maintain developer tools that streamline engineering workflows.
- Define and promote standards for code quality, performance, reliability, and healthy production environments.
- Lead adoption and integration of AI tools for code generation, testing, documentation, and debugging.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies, including AI agents and platforms.
- Drive cross-team projects improving infrastructure scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
- Analyze and resolve complex production issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Contribute to system architecture evolution for rapid development and scaling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of backend development experience focused on infrastructure and platform engineering.
- Proficiency in one or more of C#, Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience building large-scale infrastructure or web applications.
- Experience improving the stability of large-scale systems through monitoring, bottleneck resolution, and system changes.
- Strong coding standards, independent execution, and experience leading long-term technical work across teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Demonstrated experience integrating and leveraging AI tools to improve development workflows.
