Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex backend features and architectural improvements for enterprise-grade, scalable systems.
- Develop high-performance server-side components supporting multiple SaaS workloads.
- Propose solutions to complex design problems and identify engineering improvements.
- Technically guide junior engineers through feature design, code reviews, and implementation reviews.
- Independently handle complex escalations and guide others toward resolution.
- Generate detailed development specifications using GenAI.
- Write technical blogs and deliver technical presentations in internal and external forums.
- Collaborate with product architects and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a product company.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Go, Python, C, C++, Java, .NET, or another object-oriented language.
- Strong programming skills in data structures, algorithms, and design concepts.
- Strong experience with service-oriented architecture.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud technologies.
- Experience with third-party API integrations at scale is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI-based development using tools such as Cursor or Windsurf.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the backup and recovery domain is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
