Responsibilities
- Design and lead implementation of core AI agent features, including advanced RAG pipelines and multi-step tool use
- Drive architecture for a scalable, fault-tolerant AI agent platform
- Develop core AI/ML agent logic and orchestration and build supporting evaluation, observability, classification, and performance pipelines
- Establish best practices for prompt engineering, agent orchestration, observability, and testing
- Design prompt strategies, A/B tests, and automated regression pipelines for customer use cases
- Optimize retrieval logic, embedding models, and RAG pipelines
- Own the full development lifecycle to deliver performant, reliable, and secure systems
- Mentor junior engineers and interns through code reviews and technical planning
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and sales engineers to turn customer needs into technical solutions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including AI/ML or backend system ownership
- Deep Python expertise and experience building and scaling production systems
- Strong system design and software architecture skills
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native deployments such as AWS or GCP
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph
- Strong English proficiency for effective reading and writing
- Experience with real-time or conversational interfaces is helpful
- Experience with vector databases, search technologies, or large-scale data processing is helpful
- Contributions to open-source LLM or AI tooling ecosystems are helpful
- Native-level English fluency is helpful
