Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, refactoring, and incident-analysis practices.
- Establish validation standards for secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and AI-generated outputs.
- Use software development lifecycle tooling and automation to improve delivery and operational outcomes.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring software and systems issues.
- Lead evaluations of vendors, startups, internal teams, and architectural solutions.
- Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote new technologies and reusable patterns.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Proficiency with AWS, including EKS, ECS, Lambda, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and RDS.
- Experience leading the effective and responsible use of approved AI-assisted software development tools.
- Ability to establish validation standards for AI outputs covering correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI workflows, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, Java, or Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred experience with JFrog Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, NPM, PyPI, NuGet, Docker, GraphQL, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
