Base Salary
$182k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship customer-facing features spanning frontend and backend systems
- Own work from scoping and implementation through testing, deployment, and iteration
- Contribute to platform systems for discovery, scheduling, transactions, and user experience
- Implement and support A/B tests and experiments from hypothesis through measurement and rollout
- Investigate, triage, and resolve production incidents and complex cross-system bugs
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable production code and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data on measurable solutions
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to team-level architectural decisions
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience building and maintaining production systems at scale
- Hands-on experience with Python and modern React/TypeScript across backend APIs and frontend interfaces
- Experience working on systems where data quality, correctness, and performance matter
- Ability to deliver scoped work independently and take ownership of the full development lifecycle
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with Product, Design, Data, and Data Science partners
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Cursor
- Product-minded approach with an understanding of how technical decisions affect user experience and business outcomes
