Base Salary

$388k - $558k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve internal CLIs and SDKs that connect browser, backend, and library teams to the shared JavaScript platform.
  • Own the core application development platform, CI/CD workflows, supporting services, and libraries.
  • Improve platform observability, performance, local development, monorepo workflows, and deployment integrations.
  • Design and operate scalable build, release, caching, artifact management, and deploy-safety systems.
  • Partner across teams to establish clear interfaces, resolve boundaries, support platform users, and improve developer experience.
  • Provide technical leadership through system design, implementation patterns, and design and code feedback without managing people.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and operating CI/CD and release systems at real scale, including build pipelines, caching, incremental builds, artifact management, and deploy safety.
  • Ability to design extensible interfaces and abstractions for complex, load-bearing systems.
  • Experience supporting engineers as platform users and balancing immediate support needs with technical debt reduction and feature delivery.
  • Strong cross-team communication, collaboration, requirements definition, and technical judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to validate shared-infrastructure changes and improve release processes toward faster, more reliable deployments.
  • Experience providing technical leadership and raising engineering quality without direct people management.

Benefits

  • Annual salary and stock option compensation structure with no bonuses; the stated compensation range is $388,000.00-$558,000.00 and varies by location.
