Responsibilities
- Determine user requirements for agentic observability scenarios across Kubernetes and Linux.
- Lead dependencies, architecture, and design documentation for products, applications, services, and platforms supporting agentic workflows.
- Implement, review, test, debug, and maintain extensible production code while mentoring other engineers.
- Drive project plans, release plans, and work items across multiple groups with product managers and other stakeholders.
- Collect, correlate, and interpret systems signals using Linux kernel and eBPF techniques when appropriate.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual, support engineers across products, and participate in on-call monitoring for degradation, downtime, and interruptions.
- Improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance through knowledge sharing and operational improvements at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C, C++, Go, Python, or Rust.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master's degree in computer science or a related technical field with relevant technical engineering experience, or a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems on Linux and Kubernetes.
Benefits
- Base pay range of €99,800.00–€172,400.00 per year in Ireland.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position may require participation in an on-call roster.
