Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, secure, cloud-native applications using modern engineering practices.
- Write maintainable code and build microservices, containerised applications, and event-driven components.
- Implement automated testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Mentor developers at all levels and promote engineering excellence, coding standards, and best practices.
- Set technical direction, shape shared frameworks and platform components, and drive continuous improvement.
- Diagnose and resolve complex, high-impact technical issues across the technology estate.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, platform engineers, QA teams, UX/UI colleagues, and third-party software partners.
- Support engineering recruitment, onboarding, capability development, and Agile delivery activities.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, or Python.
- Modern front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
- Advanced experience with Azure or equivalent AWS/GCP cloud platforms.
- Strong expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Strong SQL Server and Entity Framework capabilities.
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP principles.
