Base Salary
$181k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Shepherd and evolve the Privacy Review Program with consistent workflows and evaluation criteria.
- Develop standards for adopting privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) and provide guidance on implementation.
- Act as the Privacy SME for policy-as-code, embedding privacy controls into engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Compliance, Trust & Safety, and Legal to align privacy outcomes with compliance obligations.
- Drive privacy-by-design adoption through self-service tools and scalable enablement programs.
- Communicate privacy risk posture and program health to stakeholders, translating technical findings into actionable guidance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in privacy engineering, privacy program management, or related security/compliance fields.
- Experience in shaping a privacy review process and managing stakeholder intake.
- Deep expertise in privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) and their trade-offs in production environments.
- Experience identifying and mitigating privacy vulnerabilities in data systems.
- Hands-on experience with policy-as-code tooling for automating compliance enforcement.
- Strong understanding of global data protection regulations and their technical implications.
- Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders without direct authority.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or a similar field.
