Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the complete lifecycle of full-stack Account Authentication features.
- Build authentication capabilities for account sign-up, login, recovery, passwordless access, token authentication, and service accounts.
- Design and scale secure, high-throughput backend systems and distributed services.
- Collaborate across security, infrastructure, client platform, and other organizational and functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead cohorts of two to four individual contributors while making hands-on technical contributions.
- Lead technical initiatives and cross-functional engagement to drive adoption and success of core safety applications.
- Propose and implement solutions to ambiguous problems and take responsibility for projects from inception through delivery.
- Use data and experimentation to inform design decisions and maximize user impact and product performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer working on complex, production-grade systems end-to-end.
- Proven ability to design and implement robust, high-throughput distributed systems and microservices handling thousands of requests per second with a focus on safety and security.
- Full-stack proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React and Vue and application/system languages such as Lua, Rust, C#, and C++.
- A BS in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Commitment to user safety, data integrity, and compliance with safety policies.
- Ability to instrument, collect, and analyze user interaction data, including A/B testing and usage metrics.
- Collaborative technical leadership, mentoring, project ownership, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Interest in building AI-centric solutions using modern machine learning and agentic AI capabilities.
