Base Salary
$130k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable systems capable of handling high traffic from security cameras.
- Own and maintain a public API for customers to access historical footage.
- Develop internal tools to assist engineering and marketing teams.
- Build backend applications from end-to-end with an owner’s mentality.
- Communicate with engineering teams to create world-class products.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Back End Engineer, preferably in a startup.
- Expertise in Python or GoLang; experience with Java or C++ is a plus.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, Dynamo, and Postgres.
- Proven track record of shipping significant products and owning backend systems.
- Some experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
