Responsibilities
- Develop and expand cloud-managed access control systems for managing doors, schedules, and user credentials.
- Drive loosely defined product ideas through completion and deliver high-quality product experiences.
- Design and maintain scalable distributed systems involving databases, queues, and blob storage.
- Take technical ownership of major systems and collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers.
- Teach, learn, and solve complex problems in a fast-growing startup environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related science field.
- At least 5 years of industry software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one common server programming language, including Python or Go.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems, including databases, queues, and blob storage.
- Experience working in an agile software development environment.
- Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
