Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Designers to translate designs into responsive products.
- Design and build reusable frontend abstractions and systems.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to enhance user experience.
- Define and monitor Core Web Vitals and address performance issues.
- Lead design and code reviews focusing on maintainability.
- Foster innovation by interacting with team members across the organization.
- Oversee testing strategies to ensure robust coverage.
- Mentor Senior/Lead engineers and influence the engineering roadmap.
- Stay updated with modern frontend technologies and standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in frontend engineering with expertise in React and TypeScript.
- Proven ability to build internal products like libraries and components.
- Deep experience with Playwright for E2E testing and Jest for unit testing.
- Expert knowledge of CSS/SCSS and experience with Storybook.
- Ability to profile browser performance and optimize React component trees.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs.
