Base Salary
$227k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the AI platform architecture across extraction pipelines, confidence scoring, cross-system aggregation, and user-facing intelligence layers.
- Own complex subsystems and design problems involving non-deterministic reliability, heterogeneous data integration, and progressive automation with human-in-the-loop controls.
- Establish system boundaries and resilient integration contracts that accommodate schema evolution and organizational change.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into production software through iterative delivery and measurable progress.
- Mature AI systems with systematic validation, accuracy-improving feedback loops, and cost management.
- Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design discussions, pairing, and technical analysis of trade-offs, feasibility, and risk.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering complex systems end to end.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems design, fault tolerance, and building reliable systems from unreliable components.
- Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals with Node.js, TypeScript, Express, React, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, Python, OpenAI APIs, and Google Gemini APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous problems into working production systems on a reasonable timeline.
- Strong technical judgment and pragmatic decision-making under uncertainty.
- Experience with non-deterministic or probabilistic outputs, confidence scoring, and fallback strategies is preferred.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, multi-model orchestration, agentic tool use, and cost optimization for high-volume LLM workloads is preferred.
- Experience with document AI or structured data extraction from unstructured sources at scale is preferred.
- Background in ad technology, revenue operations, or media operations is preferred.
- Experience working across heterogeneous enterprise data sources with varying freshness, schemas, and access patterns is preferred.
