Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, adapt, test, debug, document, and implement software solutions.
- Develop program logic for new applications and analyze or modify logic in existing applications.
- Gather and document requirements, assess business objectives, and review system requirements and business processes.
- Develop enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system improvements are successfully implemented.
- Manage multiple software development assignments and provide informal guidance to new team members.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
- Strong technical, analytical, communication, prioritization, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Experience managing software development and implementation activities, developing enhancements, and troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to gather and document requirements and assess business objectives.
- Flexibility to work UK shifts.
