Base Salary
$137k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design and development of machine learning models, pipelines, and production ML systems.
- Lead end-to-end ML workflows from data ingestion through model serving.
- Write and review code for model training, evaluation, and inference pipelines.
- Develop scalable ML systems, data pipelines, component specifications, and model improvements.
- Participate in architectural direction for ML platforms and data infrastructure.
- Drive delivery through personal contributions and the work of other engineers.
- Provide technical guidance, oversight, escalation support, and machine learning expertise to less experienced engineers and data scientists.
- Lead problem analysis, model debugging, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate deliverables with data science, data engineering, and product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field, or related work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, training, and deploying machine learning models in production environments at scale.
- Experience with Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
- Strong MLOps expertise, including model versioning, experiment tracking, CI/CD for ML, and model monitoring.
- Experience with cloud-based ML services and infrastructure such as AWS SageMaker, EC2, and S3.
- Experience with data pipeline and orchestration tools such as Airflow, Spark, and Kafka.
- Familiarity with DynamoDB, Redshift, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and data manipulation tools.
- Required experience with Snowflake.
- Preferred experience with recommendation systems, personalization, NLP, computer vision, real-time ML inference, low-latency serving architectures, LLMs, generative AI integration, Java, or Spring Boot.
