Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain secure VM images through automation and scripting.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end workflows for image creation, validation, testing, and deployment.
- Create documentation including runbooks, hardening guides, and architecture diagrams.
- Perform OS hardening, automated patching, vulnerability remediation, compliance checks, and integrity verification.
- Troubleshoot code, pipeline errors, operating-system issues, and service deployments.
- Apply CIS L1/L2 frameworks and track benchmark updates to maintain security alignment.
- Support audits and compliance reviews with evidence, reports, and remediation strategies.
- Conduct peer reviews of scripts, automation logic, and infrastructure-as-code templates.
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, architecture, security, and client teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of IT experience.
- At least 3 years of specialization in image hardening.
- At least 2 years of application development experience in Python.
- At least 2 years of experience with Terraform.
- Three to five years of experience managing and securing multi-cloud environments using AWS, Azure, GCP, and native security tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Ansible, Packer, CI/CD pipeline deployment, scripting, CIS Benchmarks, OS hardening, and automated security remediation.
- Experience hardening RHEL, Rocky, OEL, Amazon Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and customer-service abilities.
