Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software applications for AI/ML platforms and Generative AI applications, including agents, with a strong focus on Python.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and automate solutions for complex technical and developer challenges.
- Use CI/CD to deliver public and private cloud platforms and work with experimentation environments such as Jupyter Notebooks.
- Partner with data scientists and AI researchers to turn experiments into robust, scalable, optimized production applications.
- Apply enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and other software development lifecycle activities while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Contribute reusable patterns and guidance for responsible, secure, and effective AI-assisted engineering practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Practical Infrastructure as Code development experience, ideally with Terraform.
- Hands-on application development, testing, and operational stability experience.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, especially Python.
- Expertise in automation and continuous integration, delivery, and testing methods.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Model Development Life Cycle.
- Proficiency in platform development and technical processes involving areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, or machine learning.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred qualifications include experience adapting to new technologies, mastery of AI productivity tools, exposure to business-facing integrated application environments such as risk or trading, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
