$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify model shortcomings and set targets for improvement.
- Design evaluations that demonstrate whether models improved and explain why.
- Curate and generate data and fine-tune models.
- Build systems quickly and ship them to production.
- Own customer problems end to end and determine when results are ready for customers.
Requirements
- Deep experience training, fine-tuning, and evaluating deep learning models.
- Strong Python and PyTorch skills.
- Track record of shipping machine learning systems to production.
- Ability to own problems end to end and learn whatever is needed.
- Good judgment about which problems matter and when results are ready to ship.
- Specific degrees are not required; relevant projects, shipped systems, or open source work demonstrate capability.
- Preferred: experience with speech-to-text, text-to-speech, voice agents, distributed training, published papers, open source contributions, or public benchmarks.
