Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UX and Product to design and develop high-impact solutions that improve the user experience.
- Optimize supported workflows and propose technical solutions focused on performance, flexibility, and scalability.
- Promote software development best practices within the team.
- Ensure the operation, quality, and technical evolution of the product through sound design and implementation.
- Coordinate work with multiple teams and business areas across Mercado Libre.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to roadmap and sprint planning.
- Monitor and support observability of the systems.
Requirements
- Experience as a Backend Developer with Java, Go, Python, and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of unit and end-to-end testing, relational and non-relational databases, and the use of AI for coding.
- Knowledge of design patterns and their practical application.
- Knowledge of microservice architectures and scalability.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and contributing to roadmap and sprint planning.
- Experience with monitoring and observability.
