Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and debug software applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, architecture, data engineering, quality assurance, and IT teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and participate in code reviews.
- Maintain technical documentation and support software quality standards.
- Participate in Agile standups, retrospectives, onboarding, training, and continuous professional development.
- Establish and promote software engineering best practices, patterns, and automation to improve team efficiency.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code, Git, Jira, Terraform, code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and object-relational mapping technologies.
- Experience developing software in an Agile environment; ideal candidates have three to five years of such experience.
- Experience designing, building, and supporting highly scalable systems in AWS is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant AWS certifications are a plus.
