Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate IT systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement IT solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
- Gather and document system requirements with stakeholders.
- Develop or support third-party vendor software and in-house integrations for the shipping business.
- Perform system testing and validation procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to end users.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain system documentation and ensure data security and policy compliance.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing or supporting solutions using Microsoft .NET, SQL, or Power Platform.
- Proficient communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to convey business and technical information to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with vendor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Familiarity with integration patterns such as APIs and messaging is preferred.
- Familiarity with Boss, VIP (Veson), or Voyager Portal and knowledge of the shipping business are preferred.
