Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and evolution of scalable UI architecture for embedded environments, including component frameworks, navigation models, state management, and performance optimization.
- Translate customer and user needs into user-centric UI solutions for complex onboard applications in partnership with Product Owners and System Architects.
- Integrate UI layers with onboard and embedded systems, APIs, and infrastructure while addressing data contracts, error handling, security, and reliability.
- Create and govern reusable UI patterns, shared components, and design standards across MineStar products.
- Oversee and contribute to the design, development, testing, and release of embedded web applications.
- Define automated UI testing strategies, performance benchmarks, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and guide technical decisions across teams.
- Maintain architecture documentation, specifications, estimates, and validation artifacts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software, electrical, computer, or related engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in lieu of the degree.
- Extensive professional experience as a web application developer, UI Architect, or equivalent delivering production software.
- Demonstrated experience developing embedded web applications with HTML5 and Angular.
- Strong UI architecture experience with navigation models, state management, shared component governance, and versioning strategies.
- Experience with Web Components, micro-frontend-style UI composition, and 3D or map-based visualization.
- Experience optimizing startup time, rendering performance, and memory usage in embedded environments.
- Knowledge of automated unit, component, integration, and end-to-end UI testing.
- Understanding of API integration, error handling, logging, telemetry, and secure UI design principles.
- Ability to develop solutions to significant technical challenges, communicate complex concepts clearly, and influence technical decisions.
- Preferred qualifications include English and French fluency, C++ and Python experience, GNSS, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, UDP, SSL, real-time operating systems, and WebAssembly familiarity.
