Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into software designs.
- Support merging codebases across multiple project streams and contribute to coding best practices.
- Solve complex technical problems with scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Define coding standards and contribute to technical innovation.
- Mentor and support software development team members.
- Build or maintain cloud-native applications and troubleshoot distributed systems.
- Perform other assigned duties while complying with company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 8+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java, Python, and/or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS and end-to-end UI/API integration.
- Experience with microservice architecture and API protocols including REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions and database schemas.
- Knowledge of caching technologies and DBMS technologies including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience building large-scale platforms handling real-time complex transactions and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud-native applications; AWS, AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
