Base Salary
$145k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy large-scale map systems for offline map management and online map loading using Python and C++.
- Build efficient runtime map-query interfaces for perception, prediction, and planning modules.
- Improve mapping/localization watchdog and event-mining systems.
- Improve mapping/localization CI systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on requirements and performance for perception, prediction, planning, control, simulation, and data infrastructure.
- Coordinate with operations on data collection, preprocessing, labeling, testing, and analysis requirements.
Requirements
- Understand classic data structures and algorithms.
- Have experience designing and implementing large real-time C++ systems and infrastructure.
- Be familiar with maintaining and creating CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in C++.
- Have experience with offline large-scale map management and deployment.
- Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms.
- Work independently and comfortably without direct supervision.
- Preferred: experience with online multi-tile large-scale real-time map loading.
- Preferred: experience developing, implementing, and testing localization algorithms such as Lidar/Visual SLAM and Kalman filtering.
- Preferred: experience with deep learning perception systems including spatial transformers, self/cross attention, and object/lane detection and tracking.
