Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and own flight software modules for spacecraft control, telemetry, data handling, fault management, and communications.
- Develop modern C++ and Python software with emphasis on architecture, testing, and performance.
- Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop test frameworks.
- Create and execute high-fidelity simulations for flight dynamics, subsystem interactions, and edge cases.
- Collaborate with GNC, avionics, propulsion, and mission operations teams on system integration and mission success.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and flight readiness assessments.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ and Python.
- Experience with real-time systems, embedded development, or spacecraft software.
- Ability to own complex technical problems and drive them to resolution.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and simulation tools.
- Understanding of mathematics and physics, with strong attention to quality and testing.
- Experience with build systems and CI/CD systems.
- Strong cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration skills.
