Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support PACER account, authentication, billing, case locator, reporting, and internal support applications.
- Gather requirements; design, analyze, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain systems across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop enterprise software and secure web services using C, Java, JSF, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, Linux shell, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, XML, and JSON.
- Design scalable and resilient software solutions and maintain system and software architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
- Create use cases, test cases, validation results, documentation packages, impact analyses, and system design artifacts.
- Implement secure engineering practices, remediate vulnerabilities, and support ATO, PCI, FISMA, and other compliance activities.
- Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, system tuning, continuity-of-operations planning, and disaster-recovery testing.
- Manage software configurations, version control, source-code repositories, change control, and automated DevSecOps pipelines.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, and related DevOps tooling.
- Provide knowledge transfer, training, documentation, and technical support to customer and technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve efficiency, reduce technical debt, and sustain system viability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT systems engineering, systems development, systems coding, and programming.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security compliance and security controls.
- Proficiency in C, Java, JSF, Tomcat, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, and/or Linux shell.
- Strong experience implementing and supporting end-to-end automated DevSecOps pipelines and processes.
- Strong experience with Red Hat Linux, cloud APIs, cloud technologies, and software application support across the DevOps pipeline.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bash, Subversion, and JetBrains Tool Suite.
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for a wide variety of applications and implementing DevSecOps with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications and working with source control, build, release, and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to adapt to different enterprise security requirements and demonstrate a strong security-first mindset.
- Preferred experience with Perl.
- Excellent presentation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and customer relationship skills.
