Responsibilities
- Identify, build, and demonstrate solutions addressing complex business challenges for enterprise Smartsheet customers.
- Lead technical sales engagements by gathering requirements, summarizing challenges, designing solutions, and communicating Smartsheet's value.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Smartsheet products, services, and competitors.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Professional Services, Product, and Solutions Engineering teams.
- Lead or participate in onboarding, mentoring, and coaching team members.
- Represent the customer voice and help inform product roadmaps.
- Contribute to strategic Solutions Engineering programs and provide subject-matter expertise to customers and peers.
- Travel periodically to customer sites and industry events.
Requirements
- Fluency in French and English is required.
- 3-5+ years of experience in pre-sales or a related role in the SaaS and enterprise B2B software industry is preferred, with transferable experience from other industries or roles welcomed.
- Strong technical, critical-thinking, analytical, consultative problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences and adapt communication to different personas.
- Experience owning cross-functional work supporting a customer journey.
- Legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.
