Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build prototypes and POCs that showcase Tailscale for AI agents and tooling.
- Work with reference customers to integrate Tailscale for internal adoption and product embedding.
- Create reference architectures and share work through documentation and community engagement.
- Rapidly iterate with input from colleagues and customers to develop shippable prototypes.
- Maintain high production standards on prototypes that may become part of Tailscale's product offerings.
- Light travel required for team onsites and customer visits.
Requirements
- Strong at rapid prototyping and explaining technical concepts.
- Experience with Go and integrating third-party APIs.
- Heavy daily use of coding agents and LLMs in engineering workflows.
- Comfort with shifting priorities and short timelines in a startup environment.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
