Base Salary

$125k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop highly reliable autonomous software systems and the simulations required to validate them.
  • Design, test, integrate, and maintain launch and vehicle software.
  • Work across application, operating system, networking, firmware, and simulation layers.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to support Starship flight systems.
  • Work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or another engineering discipline.
  • Must be graduating with a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or PhD in 2027.
  • Preferred proficiency in C++, Rust, or another systems programming language.
  • Preferred experience with real-time embedded systems or distributed computing systems.
  • Strong interest in designing, architecting, and implementing reliable software.
  • Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and accountability skills.
  • Preferred experience in a nimble engineering organization or highly technical role.
  • Preferred academic or professional evidence of exceptional achievement, including a minimum 3.5/4.0 GPA, 95th-percentile standardized test scores, or merit-based scholarships.
  • Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.

Benefits

  • Base salary range is $125,000.00-$175,000.00 per year depending on level and qualifications.
