Base Salary
$135k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive program-level decisions on RF system designs and research solutions for large-scale satellite RF systems.
- Design, build, validate, and automate RF test benches using radio-frequency laboratory equipment.
- Build modular and scalable RF test infrastructure and Python and C++ test automation for design validation, qualification, and production.
- Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, DSP, and software engineers to design and validate RF systems.
- Create electromagnetic simulation models to design and evaluate hardware performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline.
- At least 1 year of professional development experience in C/C++ or Python.
- At least 1 year of professional experience with radio test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, and network analyzers.
- At least 1 year of professional RF experience with antennas or communication systems.
- Preferred experience includes testing active and passive RF devices, RF concepts such as gain and linearity, software architecture and testing methodologies, environmental testing, hardware/software troubleshooting, Windows and Linux, and configuration management and version control software.
- An active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one is preferred.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain required authorizations.
