- Develop and optimize scalable, high-throughput metrics engines and calculation processes for risk exposure management.
- Design and implement resilient, cloud-first platform architecture and complex counterparty credit risk workflows.
- Write production-grade code, perform platform uplifts, resolve technical challenges, and use modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and follow modern software development practices.
- Collaborate with quantitative engineers, technical leaders, and product managers on next-generation architecture and implementation.
Requirements
- Require 3–5 years of software development experience with knowledge of software design and core programming concepts.
- Require a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related STEM discipline.
- Require programming experience in at least one imperative language, such as Java, C, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Require strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Prefer experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS, and high-availability patterns.
- Prefer experience implementing or integrating AI-enabled tools, platforms, or automated solutions.
- Prefer financial services experience and domain knowledge in risk or risk engineering systems.
