Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support PACER applications including account registration, authentication, billing, case locator, account maintenance, help desk, and access reporting systems.
- Gather requirements, design, analyze, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain software across the full software development lifecycle.
- Develop enterprise software and secure web services using C, Java, JSF, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, Linux shell, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, XML, and JSON.
- Design scalable and resilient solutions, define and maintain system and software architectures, and support integration across internal and external systems.
- Implement and manage automated DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines, source control, software configuration, build and release processes, and change control.
- Develop, test, and maintain containerized applications and provide engineering support throughout the DevOps pipeline.
- Monitor compliance with PCI and other security standards and perform vulnerability remediation and compliance activities involving ATO and FISMA.
- Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, system tuning, continuity-of-operations testing, and disaster-recovery planning.
- Create use cases, test cases, validation results, documentation packages, and impact and feasibility analyses.
- Review requirements and design artifacts, evaluate emerging technologies, provide training and knowledge transfer, and support customer stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT systems engineering, systems development, systems coding, and programming.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C, Java, JSF, Tomcat, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, and Linux shell, with strong Red Hat Linux experience.
- Strong experience implementing and supporting end-to-end automated DevSecOps pipelines and processes.
- Strong understanding of cloud APIs and cloud technologies, with programming experience.
- Experience with DevOps and pipeline tools including Jira, Confluence, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bash, Subversion, and JetBrains Tool Suite.
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for a wide variety of applications and implementing DevSecOps with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications and knowledge of source control, build and release processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security compliance and security controls, with the ability to adapt to enterprise security requirements.
- Preferred experience with Perl.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, communication, collaboration, and customer relationship skills.
