Responsibilities
- Design and implement a centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting strategy for custom integrations.
- Define service level objectives and indicators in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Partner with architects and developers to enforce best practices for integration architecture.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and lead troubleshooting efforts.
- Own the cloud infrastructure for custom solutions, focusing on security and scalability.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment of integration code.
- Create and document operational handoffs and processes between teams.
- Lead blameless post-mortems to analyze incidents and drive improvements.
- Develop runbooks and best-practice guides to empower Professional Services.
Requirements
- Experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
- Expertise with AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog or Prometheus.
- Proficient in at least one scripting or programming language, preferably Ruby.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- A systems-thinker with a passion for troubleshooting complex problems.
