Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance software solutions for large-scale, high-volume financial data and complex compliance requirements.
- Develop software and infrastructure that enable repeatable, efficient, automated, and high-quality releases.
- Debug and resolve critical production issues across services, system layers, and technology stacks.
- Use customer and product-stakeholder input to determine technical solutions that deliver customer value quickly.
- Lead design for medium-sized components and features and participate in design for larger components and features.
- Analyze data, identify patterns, document findings, and communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to deliver projects and meet quarterly team goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development with Java, service-oriented architectures, and cloud computing.
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with a frontend framework such as React or Next.js, plus CSS and HTML knowledge.
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker.
- Knowledge of scalable distributed-system design patterns and core computer science concepts.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWTs, and user session management.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining web and mobile applications.
- Ability to write clean, readable, well-tested code with thorough documentation and understand and adjust existing technical designs.
- Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, cross-functional delivery, and constructive-feedback skills.
- Preferred experience includes payments or fintech, big-data analytics tools such as Snowflake, stream processing architectures, technical blogs, public GitHub repositories, or open-source contributions.
