Base Salary
$85k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, deploy, support, and maintain full-stack applications and services.
- Own the end-to-end technical lifecycle of analytic solutions.
- Create proof-of-concepts to test business ideas with working software.
- Collaborate with product managers, product designers, product owners, data scientists, and software engineers on product direction and delivery.
- Integrate applications with Ford systems and business processes to create digital experiences.
- Perform design and code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Build foundational systems, internal frameworks, APIs, developer tools, and scalable environments.
- Partner with engineering and data science teams to deliver solutions with demonstrated value.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience developing for and deploying to cloud platforms.
- Experience with Java, Python, SQL, cloud services, Terraform, REST-style microservices, Spring Boot, Cloud Run, and JavaScript-based UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience with GCP architecture, infrastructure and operations, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, DevSecOps, data processing, databases, machine learning, and workflow pipelines.
- Preferred or relevant technologies include Kubernetes, BigQuery, Google Vertex AI, XGBoost, CatBoost, Apache Airflow, and Astronomer.
- Ability to collaborate across product, design, data science, and software engineering teams.
