Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain full-stack applications and services.
- Own the end-to-end technical lifecycle of analytic solutions, including architecture, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
- Build internal frameworks, APIs, developer tools, foundational systems, cloud services, and machine-learning intelligence layers.
- Develop user interfaces, server-side services, REST-style microservices, and integrations with Ford systems and business processes.
- Create proofs of concept to test business ideas with working software.
- Conduct design and code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate with product managers, product designers, product owners, data scientists, and software engineers to define product direction and deliver solutions.
- Provide technical thought leadership across the Ford community and partner with other teams to build solutions with demonstrated value.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 3+ years of experience developing for and deploying to cloud platforms such as GCP, PCF, or Azure.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
- Experience with Java, Python, SQL, and major programming languages, along with test-driven development practices.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Cloud Run, JavaScript-based UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue, and REST-style microservices.
- Experience with Google Cloud architecture, Terraform, Kubernetes, cloud databases, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, security tooling, data processing, and machine-learning platforms.
- Experience with data technologies including PySpark, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Apache Airflow, and related workflow or MLOps tools.
- Ability to collaborate across product, design, data science, and engineering teams and contribute to technical direction.

- Base salary range of $85,400-$192,900 for salary grades 6-8.
