Base Salary
$68k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- Build web interfaces using Angular and React.
- Architect and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for high availability and low latency.
- Implement business logic, data models, and optimized PostgreSQL schemas.
- Write maintainable code and contribute to code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
- Configure logging, tracing, monitoring, and alerting to maintain system health and resolve production issues.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and partner with product managers, UX/UI designers, and architects.
- Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with Java.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- 6+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- 6+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Preferred qualifications include production experience with single-page applications using React or Angular, Google Cloud certification, GitOps, container security scanning, declarative pipeline tools, TDD, pair programming, continuous integration, and message brokers or event streaming platforms.
