Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable GitOps workflows with Argo CD and Kubernetes.
- Create GitHub Actions for complex CI workflows and manage reusable workflows.
- Collaborate with product engineering and developer productivity teams to enhance infrastructure.
- Build automation tools in Go or Python to simplify Helm and Kustomize complexities.
- Align the deployment platform with industry standards to minimize operational toil.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews, providing recommendations on scalability.
- Deliver solutions that ensure speed, quality, and resilience in deployment strategies.
- Contribute to code reviews and support teammates through documentation and guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of software development or infrastructure experience, focusing on Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes cluster management, ArgoCD, and GitOps principles.
- Strong programming skills in Golang and Python, with experience in internal developer tooling.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.
- Expertise with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and observability tools.
- Experience with AI productivity tools to enhance SDLC workflows.
- Familiarity with AWS managed services and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a distributed team.
