Responsibilities
- Assess prospects’ applications for fit with Temporal’s platform.
- Educate customers and prospects on Temporal’s technical benefits and limitations.
- Position Temporal against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
- Build application prototypes and provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance.
- Help customer engineering organizations increase Temporal adoption and expand production applications.
- Partner with Account Executives on account plans, opportunity scoping, sizing, and technical guidance.
- Manage relationships with technical decision-makers and advise customers on architectural and platform topics.
Requirements
- Reside in Singapore and be eligible to work without sponsorship.
- Demonstrate exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Have a deep understanding of distributed-system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Be proficient in one or more of Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Understand production considerations including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Provide insightful advice on application patterns and platform architectures.
- Have experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with common application development and production services.
