Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, suites, scripts, tools, and utilities.
- Write and execute unit, component, white-box, functional, API, and end-to-end application tests.
- Integrate automated test suites and reporting with continuous integration and delivery infrastructure.
- Perform performance, load, security, and service virtualization testing, including test data generation and response analysis.
- Build and customize test environments and maintain automation infrastructure.
- Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, business teams, clients, and analysts on test plans, conditions, cases, and execution.
- Report and track defects, resolutions, closures, and root cause analysis activities.
- Coordinate assigned testing activities and review client test plans, cases, and scripts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, information systems, or another technical field; additional experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Typically at least 2 years of professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
- Preferred master's degree in software engineering, information systems, or another technical field.
- Preferred typically at least 4 years of experience developing automated testing strategies across varied environments and frameworks.
- Experience or knowledge with software development lifecycle and testing methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, test-driven development, and behavior-driven development.
- Programming experience with Java, C#, Perl, Python, Groovy, Oracle, or SQL and familiarity with testing tools and continuous integration environments.
