Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, suites, scripts, tools, utilities, and test environments.
Perform unit, component, white-box, functional, regression, performance, load, security, and service virtualization testing.
Integrate automated test suites and testing infrastructure with continuous integration and delivery tools.
Create test cases, test plans, test data, reporting, metrics, and automation infrastructure scripts.
Test non-UI components including APIs, RESTful APIs, and web services.
Analyze application performance and load responses and identify code quality, testability, and regression issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, business teams, and clients on test planning and execution.
Report and track defects, resolutions, and closure while participating in root cause analysis.
Coordinate assigned testing activities and serve as the test-activity contact for small client projects.

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, information systems, or another technical field, with additional experience considered in lieu of a degree.
Typically at least 2 years of professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
Preferred: master’s degree in software engineering, information systems, or another technical field.
Preferred: typically at least 4 years of experience developing automated testing strategies across varied environments and frameworks.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, and Behavior Driven Development.
Programming experience with Java, C#, Perl, Python, Groovy, Oracle, or SQL.
Experience with unit testing, security testing, API testing, mobile testing, continuous integration, and service virtualization tools.
Ability to work on moderately complex testing and quality issues using defined procedures and practices.
