Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test suites and test plans based on user stories and requirements.
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and ensure test coverage and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, BSA, and other teams to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Design and implement test automation strategies and continuously improve quality assurance processes.
- Report, track, and communicate defects using bug-tracking systems.
- Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting application and development/test environment issues.
- Test and report on product performance, quality, security, and stability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of IT experience.
- 4+ years of experience developing automation scripts with Selenium using Java.
- Strong experience with automation frameworks and practices such as BDD, Cucumber, and POM.
- Ability to create and execute test plans and test cases from user stories and requirements, identify gaps, and communicate defects.
- Basic knowledge of Playwright with TypeScript.
- Experience with SCM tools such as Git or SVN.
- Experience with REST API automation tools such as REST Assured or HttpClient using Java is an added advantage.
- Experience with Agile methodology, Test Driven Development, Lean, and Scrum.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Strong communication, analytical, collaboration, detail-orientation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
