Responsibilities
- Design and implement REST, SOAP, and Pub/Sub API integrations between Salesforce, ERPs, and asset-management systems.
- Develop event-driven architectures using Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Apex Triggers for real-time field-service data.
- Build high-volume data ingestion and automated Asset Service Lifecycle Management workflows in Salesforce.
- Implement Queueable, Batch, and Future Apex for asynchronous processing and governor-limit management.
- Configure OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Named Credentials for secure authentication and encrypted integrations.
- Develop self-healing integration frameworks with logging, retry logic, and real-time failure alerting.
- Optimize API performance and SOQL/SOSL queries for low-latency external-system calls.
Requirements
- B.E., B.Tech, MCA, or an equivalent qualifying technical education background.
- Relevant Salesforce development experience with a strong focus on Field Service.
- Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce development tools.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce FSL architecture, data models, and functionality.
- Experience customizing the FSL mobile application and its offline capabilities.
- Proficiency with REST and SOAP APIs and Salesforce integrations with external systems.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II or Field Service Lightning Consultant are highly desirable.
- Experience with Sales Cloud or Service Cloud is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, Apex Unit Tests, or Jest is preferred.
- English proficiency at C2 level is required.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 certification is listed.
