Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered features from the ground up.
- Develop and optimize Serval’s applied AI systems, including model selection and fine-tuning.
- Integrate AI capabilities into production environments for reliability and performance.
- Collaborate across engineering and product teams to enhance customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate model performance and improve based on feedback.
- Establish AI engineering best practices and raise the technical bar across the team.
Requirements
- Experience as a software engineer or machine learning engineer focused on applied AI.
- Proven experience developing and deploying production-grade AI systems.
- Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or evaluation techniques for LLMs.
- Comfort with APIs, data pipelines, and cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
- Strong focus on delivering high-quality user experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
