Software Engineer II - Slack Developer Experience AI

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AI-powered developer experience solutions across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and experiment with internal tools such as AI code review agents for use across Slack.
- Own AI tooling distribution, monitoring, evangelism, evaluation, and cost management.
- Build developer workflow tools and improve developer productivity across Slack’s codebase.
- Work as a full-stack generalist across different technology stacks and take ownership of high-quality delivery.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining complex software.
- Experience using AI development tools and frameworks such as Claude Code, Cursor, LangChain, and LangGraph.
- Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Deep familiarity with tracking and improving developer productivity metrics.
- Track record of championing AI-powered development practices at an organizational level.
- Experience using Slack and interest in improving it are bonus qualifications.
- Experience in Developer Experience or on a platform team is a bonus qualification.
