Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, test, deploy, and operate production AI and LLM agentic systems in Python across public cloud environments.
- Build scalable security intelligence systems, data-processing pipelines, feature workflows, and automated threat-detection capabilities.
- Operationalize machine learning models for classification, clustering, anomaly detection, and security automation.
- Own systems end to end across implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production operations.
- Improve system resilience, observability, performance, and reliability using logs, metrics, traces, and other telemetry.
- Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, documentation, and effective team execution.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering, machine learning engineering, or related development experience.
- Strong hands-on Python programming skills and solid software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, APIs, testing, debugging, code reviews, and maintainable design.
- Experience building and operating production software, services, data-processing systems, or ML applications.
- Experience solving scale, performance, reliability, data-volume, or concurrency challenges.
- Practical understanding of machine learning fundamentals and experience applying ML with common libraries or frameworks.
- Familiarity with generative AI and LLM technologies and their incorporation into software applications.
- Experience with cloud-based, distributed, or data-intensive applications.
- Understanding of source control, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational debugging practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot using logs, metrics, traces, and other telemetry and work relatively independently within established technical direction.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with agentic AI, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face, XGBoost, Ray, Spark/PySpark, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud ML/data infrastructure, MLOps, cybersecurity, adversarial AI, AI red teaming, LLM or agent security, MITRE ATT&CK, or OCSF.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and effective collaboration with other engineers.
