Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support software applications for the Vision NEXT platform.
- Develop and maintain REST and event-driven integrations using RabbitMQ, webhooks, APIs, and microservices.
- Build and maintain API test automation with RestAssured, Karate, and Postman/Newman.
- Troubleshoot application, connectivity, integration, performance, and production support issues.
- Support cloud-native applications deployed in AWS environments and assist with monitoring and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development, software engineering, or related technology disciplines.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java, C#, C++, C, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience with REST and event-driven integrations, RabbitMQ, webhooks, and retry/idempotency design patterns.
- 2+ years of experience developing or supporting applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Experience with APIs, microservices, distributed application architectures, and enterprise troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN connectivity, firewalls, load balancing, and SSL/TLS.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military experience.
- Preferred experience includes financial services or payments, cloud-native and real-time transaction platforms, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, networking technologies, hybrid cloud connectivity, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Must possess U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card) status.
