Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, and publishing.
- Develop moderately complex Java software and new microservices while collaborating with senior team members.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and system test plans.
- Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards and software development best practices.
- Support DevOps deployment activities and define, monitor, and meet performance and quality metrics.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects by analyzing logs, reproducing issues, and implementing fixes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user guides.
- Apply analytical judgment to resolve medium-complexity software requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 6–10 years of hands-on software development experience with Java, JDBC, RESTful services, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JdbcTemplate.
- Experience developing and deploying web applications with Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
- Experience configuring, deploying, and managing enterprise applications using Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, and JBoss Server in clustered environments.
- Experience with Maven, GitHub, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SonarQube.
- Experience using Eclipse, IntelliJ, or JDeveloper.
- Experience managing the software development lifecycle using TFS or Git.
- Strong SQL optimization and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of the healthcare domain is preferred.
- Experience with software design, debugging, API design and integration, technical documentation, and Agile methodology.
